• Betts  India   is  100%, subsidiary of  Betts Group, UK   a   leading international   pharmaceutical  and  consumer  care  packaging  business.

• Betts  &  Co   was  founded  in  1804  to  make  brandy  and   gin,  and  moved  in  to  the  packaging   business  in  1846  making  lead  capsules  to   prevent  pilferage  from  brandy  bottles.

• The  Company  became  private   again  in  November  1998  as a £103   million  Management  Buy  Out  backed  by Permira, formerly  Schroder Ventures.
